Cabanas da Viscondessa

The stylish accommodation Cabanas da Viscondessa is located on the south side of the island of São Jorge on the edge of the village of Urzelina. The accommodation is located in the middle of a small forest and offers six vacation homes, a main house with a dining room, a lounge and a sun terrace. As the name of the accommodation suggests, the vacation homes were acquired on the classic estate of the Viscondessa de São Mateus nobility. The latter is the patron saint of the municipality of Urzelina.
Two of the six modern vacation homes are connected to each other. The pairs of houses each consist of a studio and an apartment (T1) with a separate bedroom. All vacation homes offer a private terrace with views of the sea or the neighboring island of Pico with its majestic volcano, or the beautiful trees of the vacation complex. Each vacation home is individually designed and equipped with large panoramic windows and high ceilings. The light-flooded rooms are furnished with all kinds of accessories made from natural materials, with the renewable raw material wood being the dominant building material in the complex. The natural material can also be found in various forms in the interior design of the houses.

Accommodation: A total of six fully air-conditioned, modern vacation homes, three of which have a separate bedroom (T1) and three studios (T0). All have a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area with table and chairs, a living area with sofa and flat-screen TV, a telephone, a closet, a large double bed and a private bathroom. All accommodation units also have a private terrace with seating.
