São Jorge Spot

The São Jorge Spot accommodation is located in the small village of Terreiros, on the beautiful south coast of the hiking island of São Jorge. The three detached wooden bungalows afford magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighbouring island of Pico with its towering, majestic volcano. The “open-space” or studio bungalows each offer a fully equipped kitchenette, dining table, a double bed, a sofa bed, a private bathroom, and a terrace with garden furniture. The bungalows are suitable for 2 to max. 4 persons, which makes them ideal for couples or families. There are no separate rooms, however. A natural bathing spot by the sea to cool off on hot days and watch the brightly coloured fish is very close to the accommodation. The island of São Jorge has many beautiful hiking trails with great cliff views. Enjoy your morning coffee or your evening drink on the bungalow terrace and let your eyes roam the beautiful blue Atlantic. Once the sun sets, you can listen to the charming, mumbling cries of the “cagarros”, of Scopoli's shearwaters. These migratory birds nest on the steep slopes of the island in the spring and summer months.
