Refúgio do Pico

The holiday resort Refúgio do Pico, situated at the north coast of Pico, was only opened in 2012. It’s located in a peaceful and quiet environment, just above the picturesque village of Prainha. The spacious and terraced property is owned by a German couple. Each guest house is in a separate place and protected by numerous exotic fruit trees. The property offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of São Jorge. The resort is an oasis under a green canopy and invites you to read and to relax. It’s an ideal place to recharge energies and pursue activities in harmony with nature. All holiday homes are well equipped with comfortable furniture, and leave nothing to be desired for a comfortable stay.
