Experience a sporty and adventurous e-bike tour on Pico with Naturfactor. Accompanied by a guide, you can choose between riding through the beautiful vineyards, through and around the village of Piedade, or through the fascinating landscape around the island's lakes.

Overview of the individual tours:

Lagoons Tour
This hiking trail leads through the unspoiled interior of the island. The trail begins at Capitão Lake and ends in the municipality of Ribeirinha. Along the way, you will find the lakes Caiado, Lagoa Seca, Peixinho, and Paúl. On this trail, you will also cross the Caveiro Nature Reserve with its diverse flora and fauna. In clear weather, you can see the islands of São Jorge and Terceira.

Vineyards Tour
The vineyard tour is a trip through the vineyard walls, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It starts in Mirateca and goes along the coast towards Santa Luzia. During the trip, you'll get to see several pastures and vineyards, as well as tidal wells, windmills, and typical wine cellars. In Lajido de Santa Luzia, you can visit the Interpretation Center for the Wine Culture of Pico Island.

Ponta da Ilha
The bike tour starts near Cabeço do Caveiro, between the Peixinho and Rosada lagoons, and ends at the port of Calheta do Nesquim. From there, we head towards Ribeirinha, where we ride as close to the sea as possible along the coast. Upon arrival at the port of Calheta do Nesquim, we can visit the whaling boat house.
