This luxurious traditional accommodation is situated at the foothill of "Monte Brasil", about a 5-minute drive from the UNESCO-protected center of Angra do Heroísmo. The Quinta de Nossa Senhora das Mercês is a 16th century country house. The property stretches 35,000 km² from the sea shore towards inland. The splendid estate is of great historical and cultural value. The outdoor area which provides access to the sea, as well as a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean, was designed by a landscape architect, paying particular attention to the preservation of the original structure.
