Secluded from the world, the welcoming Caldeira Surfcamp and Guesthouse is located in the idyllic Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo. The small village on the north coast of the beautiful hiking island of São Jorge can’t be reached by car, only by foot or by quad. Glide into the water with a surfboard, or just enjoy the silence of this unique place. In the local lagoon a special kind of cockle thrive, here called "Ameijoas".

Location (approx.): in the Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo; Fajã dos Cubres (next village with road accessible for cars) 4 km; airport + village of Velas 30 km
Facilities and services: WI-FI (free of charge) and mobile network reception in public areas (weak signal); communal kitchen (providing drinking water, juice, fruits, coffee and tea); electricity to charge technical devices available for 3-4 hours in the evening; light / standard electricity 24 hours
