“A Casa del Rei” is located centrally in the middle of the beautiful historical town of Ribeira Grande on the north coast of São Miguel Island. The tastefully restored historical building houses three studio apartments (open space) and one twin room and impresses with its stylish contemporary furnishings. The accommodation is part of the “As Casas da Ribeira Grande” holiday home network that has the objective of lovingly restoring traditional, historical buildings while furnishing them with modern comforts. A number of cafés and restaurants in are within easy walking distance. Historical churches, monasteries, a historical bridge, and a full historical town centre invite visitors to explore. A local museum, a liqueur factory, and hot spring baths in the region are also worth visiting. The accommodation is ideal for travellers who enjoy the liveliness and the good infrastructure of the town, with beautiful nature “just a stone’s throw away”.
