The Vila Barca accommodation is located quietly on the outskirts of Madalena, the island’s largest town, no more than 100 m from the sea. Enjoy some picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean or even of Portugal’s highest mountain, the majestic Pico volcano. The closest natural bathing spot is only a few minutes’ walk away. An architecture-award-winning bar and restaurant is within walking distance, too. The centre of Madalena can also be reached on foot and offers cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets along with the ferry port from which regular ferry connections run to the neighbouring island of Faial. The complex offers rooms and apartments with a terrace and/or balcony. Vila Barca is ideal for travellers wishing to enjoy the proximity of the sea in a quiet location without needing a car. You may complement your days exploring the island with a stroll along the seafront, or a cool drink on your balcony, enjoying the beautiful panoramic views. Breakfast is not included by default but may be booked for a fee. In this case, it will be delivered daily to your room/apartment every day.
