Pico overnight climb

Get ready for the great adventure of spending a night in the crater of the Pico Volcano. The ascent to the peak of the Pico Mountain, the highest peak in Portugal, will take place in the glow of the setting sun. In good weather, an incomparably beautiful sunset with the most beautiful colors and shades will accompany our ascent. You’ll spend the night in the middle of the crater at an altitude of about 2300 meters, in 2-3 person tents. With a clear view, you’ll be able to enjoy the starry sky at nighttime to the fullest. We’ll get up before sunrise, so that you can enjoy every second of it on the highest peak presenting spectacular views.

Please note: you should be in good physical condition, sure-footed and not be afraid of heights; for travelers with heart disease or asthma the ascent is not recommended; for divers an interval of 12 hours between the last dive and the ascent is obligatory.
