Quinta dos Mistérios

The "Quinta dos Mistérios" guesthouse, newly opened in 2023, is a 17th century estate on the south coast of the island of São Jorge. The owner attaches great importance to preserving the historical and cultural memory of her ancestors, creating a representation of Azorean life from another era. From the architectural style of a bygone era to the furniture and artwork, the rooms of the property are brimming with stories and memories. A 7-hectare property with almost untouched nature, an 18th century garden and a small green area with a swimming pool ensure that everyone gets their money's worth here. The whole thing is topped off with a fantastic view of the sea and the large Pico on the neighboring island. The room names and styles are inspired by ships that were historically relevant to the Azores. However, as each room represents its own individual furnishings and style and the respective price varies, we cannot provide you with fixed prices below. However, to give you a rough idea of the prices for 2024/2025, here are the respective price ranges: €90-130 for a single room per night and €110-200 for a double room per night - depending on the room and period.
