Aldeia da Fonte

The beautiful 4-star nature hotel is located on the south coast of the island of Pico and consists of individual houses made of volcanic rock and with different types of rooms. The houses are embedded in a spacious and well-kept garden. The resort, which is located 2 km outside the village center of Lajes, has the character of an independent village, equipped with a restaurant which is well-known for its regional cuisine. After an excursion day on the island visitors can take a relaxing bath in the small outside pool or visit the "sea-lounge" directly on the rocky coast. It’s an excellent place to relax and to enjoy your vacation. However, since some parts of the accommodation are a bit worn, we, vista verde azores, would only give it 3 stars plus (but 5 stars for the fantastic location!).

Standard deluxe room: 24 m², 2 single beds, no extra bed possible, same room size as standard rooms as well as a separate small entrance room
Studio: 31 m² with 2 single beds, small bar area with water cooker and seating with armchairs, own veranda, no extra bed possible
Suite: 56 m² divided into 2 rooms, 2 single beds, small bar area with water cooker, dining area, sofa and fireplace, sofa as extra bed fold-out (1 adult or 2 children)
Meals: breakfast (continental buffet), half board possible
