Casas do Capelo

The Casas do Capelo holiday home complex welcomes its guests with 9 traditional Azorean holiday homes with one or two bedrooms in and around the municipality of Capelo. Here, tradition meets modern comfort. All the houses are beautifully integrated into the village surroundings and natural landscape, and the sea can be seen from almost all of them – sometimes in the distance, sometimes only from the upper floor, and sometimes quite close by. An ideal starting point for exploring the island for guests who may not be looking for hotel-style comforts, but who appreciate beautiful and individual accommodation. All houses offer outdoor seating areas and a washing machine, making them suitable for longer stays as well.

Casa do Chafariz: located in the village of Varadouro, a popular seaside resort with many summer residences; approx. 55 m², with stunning sea views from the terrace; 1 bedroom.
Casa do Nuno: located in the village of Varadouro, a popular seaside resort with many summer residences, close to the natural swimming areas by the sea. The property consists of a T1 apartment with one bedroom (approx. 45 m²) and a T2 apartment with two bedrooms (approx. 85 m²; one bedroom with a double bed and one with two single beds), arranged next to each other. The T1 is entirely on the ground floor and has no direct sea view. The T2 is spread over two floors, with the bedrooms and terrace on the upper floor, offering stunning sea views.
Casa Tia Garcia: traditionally restored using black basalt stone, located in the village of Areeiro; approx. 110 m², with distant sea views; 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds), 2 bathrooms.
Casa da Eduardina: traditionally restored using black basalt stone, located in the village of Areeiro; approx. 90 m², with distant sea views; 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds), 2 bathrooms.
Casa da Amparo: located in Capelo; approx. 50 m², traditionally renovated T1 with one bedroom and a double bed; bright, modern interiors, terrace with seating area and barbecue; similar to Casa do Chafariz, but without sea views.
Casa do André: located in Fajã (Freguesia Praia do Norte), in a very peaceful setting; approx. 80 m², newly built T1 holiday home with 1 bedroom, terrace and stunning views of the sea and surrounding cliffs.
Meals: self-catering; for an extra charge (5 Euro/ person/ day) breakfast can be delivered to the holiday house. This service is only available at Casa Tia Garcia and Casa da Eduardina.
