Furnas Experience (guided day trip)

The perfect way to spend the day with family or friends! Start the morning with a short walk (approx. 1 hour) along the shores of Lagoa das Furnas. Then explore the Furnas Valley, learn about the volcanic activity and for lunch try the traditional Furnas stew, called cozido, which is cooked by the natural heat of the soil.
Spend the afternoon exploring the municipality of Furnas and visit the volcanic springs. Here you will have the opportunity to taste the water from these springs, both hot and cold. If you wish, you can visit the beautiful garden of the Terra Nostra Park, where you can enjoy a wonderfully warm thermal bath. Or you can decide to make your own time.

Entry to the park is optional and not included in the price. However, use of the thermal baths is included in the park entrance fee and does not have to be paid for separately.

The price includes a transfer from Ponta Delgada and back. Other pick-up locations can be requested.

Physical requirements: The activity is suitable for everyone with an average physical condition (except children under 8 years)
Please remember the following: appropriate clothing and shoes to protect against sun and wind, swimwear (dark), towel, change of clothes (only if you plan to use the thermal pool), rucksack for personal belongings, medication (if required), drinking water
Other information: The exact length of the tour and whether the tour can take place at all depends on the current weather conditions.
